Happy Friday! I'm here today with Week 10 of my 2015 Project Life. I'm really so happy I've started PL - loving how my album is coming along.  My girls love looking through it and it will be treasured for years to come I'm sure.

The Week 10 journalling card is printed off from the Project Life iPhone app with my pics. I added the date in using the Rhonna Designs app. I used some stamps I had and some papers from the backside of my week 9 and added some Maggie Holmes stickers.

A PL card and some random cards I had in my stash along with some stickers and a gem complete the second page.

I didn't have a lot of pictures to fill the last page, so instead of using all journalling cards I added some recent artwork that the girls had done. I cut the pieces down to fit in the pockets, and love how it turned out. I always save the little bits of papers they draw on and it was a nice way to make sure they were in a place I'd see them again!

Thanks for joining me today! Don't forget to check out the current Bimini Moose scrapbooking challenge - anything goes with a twist this week, pets!

It's time for another month's challenge at -

This month's challenge is - Mother's Day with a twist 'Flowers'!

Our Sponsor this week is Sherri Baldy

For my project I used this adorable digi stamp from our sponsor, Sherri Baldy to create a Mother's Day card!  I used some Spellbinders Nestabilities to diecut around her and then used a background of patterned papers I had in my stash. Using the sketch over at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge blog, I placed my layered flowers and butterfly, and I added some gems for bling.

I coloured her with Prismacolor Markers and gel pens in spring colours to coordinate with my papers!

Bimini Moose Challenge - AG with optional twist PETS!

Happy Tuesday! I'm back today to bring you another Pocket Scrapbooking challenge over at BIMINI MOOSE!
Our challenge this time is...
Scrapbooking - ANYTHING GOES
and the optional twist is Pet Pages!

We want to see your pages all about your PETS. You can add many photos of their antics, or maybe just one special photo with lots of journaling. When did you adopt them? How old are they now? What is their name and how you decided on that particular name, etc. Don't have any pets? How about show us some photo pages of your trip to the ZOO (they were your pets for a day). Or those crazy squirrels in your backyard, or geese and deer visits.... Be creative and show us your best PET pages. We can't wait to see them! )

Our challenges run for 2 weeks. This one will close on Mon, May 11 @ Noon Eastern time - giving us time to pick a Top 3 for the post the following day with our Next Challenge.

We will also be choosing one winner per challenge to win a cut file from our amazing sponsor -
These files are perfect to include in your Pocket Scrapbooking Layouts and in your other crafting as well.

For my take on the Pet theme this week - now I know you're going to laugh - I chose the day the girls found a worm in the backyard! We don't have any pets, and we haven't been to the zoo in quite a while, so I figured this little guy would count as our pet for the day!

I used some October Afternoon goodies I ordered from Peachy Cheap a while ago, along with some 12x12 papers I cut into 4x6 cards. I just layered on my papers and some chipboard stickers I had in my stash. It was actually a fall day, but I felt like keeping it bright and light so I used blues and pinks to match the girls outfits and added yellows from the October Afternoon line. I kept everything clean & simple this time and, 'gasp' didn't even pull out my Distress Inks!

Be sure to pop over to Bimini Moose and check out the rest of the DESIGN TEAM and what they have created to inspire you to play along. There will be several posts on the Bimini Moose blog during our challenge, so if you want to see the current challenge, click on the CHALLENGES tab on the blog. If you want to browse through all of the posts with ideas, tutorials, and some personal layouts, click on the HOME tab on that blog. Don't forget this is an Anything Goes Scrapbooking Challenge - it doesn't have to be pocket pages - just show us your scrapbooking projects!!

FCCB #250 - Celebrate Mom!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #250 - Celebrate Mom-create a card or project for Mom

This Weeks Sponsor

There will be 3 winners of $7 gift certificates!

Create a project inspired by Mother's Day

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

For my project this week I made two scrapbook layouts with pictures from Mother's Day 2013. My sweet daughter was in Kindergarten and her teacher held a Mother's Day Tea! It was a very special event!!

I used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge for all the scroll cuts, which I embossed with my Cuttlebug and then added some sponged Distress Ink to. I added some Pewter Distress Stain to my page by unscrewing the cap and flicking it onto my pages.

These beautiful flowers are cut with the DigiPlayground 3D Flower SVG file. I separated the layers and made extra flowers.

For some of the flowers I stamped a script stamp with Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder before layering them.

The Hello tag is from DigiPlayground, and I used Design Space to change the Hello word cut to a 'write' option, using the Amy Tangerine markers from American Crafts.  They work in the Explore beautifully and are permanent, so I was able to use Distress Inks on a craft sheet to watercolour my background. I then used a white gel pen to colour in the hello part. The Mom cut was done the same way with a diecut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

For my second page I used the April sketch from Scrapping Everyday Miracles. I love this sweet Gorjuss Girls paper! (I used a coordinating sheet for my first layout, and more coordinating paper for the other background papers on this layout).

I love all the different options you have with this flower cut! You could layer them all together or make as many different ones as you wanted!

The What A Day cut is a 3x4 Life Card SVG file from DigiPlayground! I just love the script in this, and you get two more cards in this set!

Thanks so much for joining me today!! I hope you'll check out the FCCB blog and see what the other DT members have come up with this week - and be sure to link up your project for a chance to win!

Week 8 & 9 Project Life Layouts!

Well, Week 8 was a slow week and Week 9 was busier with a few more pics! I need to remember to be a little more creative on weeks that we don't have a lot of extra things going on and use these weeks to maybe add a list or pictures that the kids drew, etc. I think I need to print off a list of 'extras' so I can easily pull from these when I feel like I need some 'fresh' ideas ;)

I printed off cards from the 'Dazzle' mini kit in the PL iPhone app when I printed my pics for Week 8, as well as using some patterned paper I had in my stash. I love the bright floral designs on these cards! I really like being able to collage the pictures before printing them. I used the Rhonna Designs app to add digi text and images to my pics after collaging them in PL.

I also used some stickers - I recently picked up a sheet of Maggie Holmes stickers, which I love!! and I used stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps! The 'I <3 this!' stamp is embossed with black embossing powder right on top of my photo. I wasn't sure if it would work, but it did perfectly!

The journalling card on the top left of the second page of week 8 is made with a digital PL card and the Rhonna Designs app to add the middle part. I love how it turned out!

Here's how the 2 page spread looks in the album:

For Week 9 I used a lot of cards printed from the Peace, Love and Sunshine Value Kit in the PL app - I love the bright colours in this kit! I also used papers from the Echo Park Capture Life 12x12 scrapbooking kit! This has to be one of my favourite paper packs; and again I used some of the Maggie Holmes stickers.

On the second page I featured my hubby's 45th birthday!! woo hoo! and I grouped a few special pics and some journalling into the top half of the page - adding some digital text from the Rhonna Designs app on top of some of the pics.

On the bottom half I grouped some random pics of the girls - I love the two of them snuggling up while watching the spiders on TV!

I grouped my food pics together in the first 2 columns of this page and added an arrow (from Pretty Cute Stamps!) under my 'scrapbook goodie' pic, which points to the journalling below it.

This whole page was dedicated to our weekend outing to the Home & Garden Show with my oldest daughter and son-in-law. I again used papers and stickers from the Capture Life collection, a journalling card from PL and stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps.

Here are the four pages as they are in my scrapbook for Week 9:

Pretty Cute Stamps Feature - Forest Friends!

Happy Monday!! I'm so glad to share this adorable Forest Friends stamp set from Pretty cute stamps with you today!

I coloured in this super sweet fox stamp with Prismacolor coloured pencils and then cut him out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities die. I used a little blue Distress Ink to sponge around the edge and then layered it over a larger Nestabilities diecut. The patterned paper is from the BoBunny Forever Young 6x6 paper pack - I just love the bright spring colours!

I used the little heart shapes included in the set to stamp on top of my woodgrain background paper, and I punched the bottom edge of my border before popping up my main image with foam dots.

I just love this cute sentiment - I stamped on more of the BoBunny paper and sponged the edge again with Distress Ink after cutting it into a banner shape.

Be sure to head over to the Pretty Cute Stamp store to see all the amazing stamp sets! You still have one more day to take advantage of the April New Releases which are on sale until April 21st!

Week 7 Project Life!

Well I was motivated to get my weekly pics all printed out as Costco was having a sale and I wanted to take advantage of it. I've been using, for the most part, pictures from my iPhone for my PL layouts, collaging them with the PL app and then sending them to Costco for printing with the Costco app. Sometimes I will use the Rhonna Designs app (which I love!!) to add text or some pretty graphics on my pics too! I think I have a pretty good system going now!

Here are my layouts - I've used a combination of PL cards from the app, which I printed with my pics as well as some 6x6 patterned papers, some Simple Stories journalling cards, and some I made myself. I added stickers and stamps and extra papers to my pics and cards to add interest.

I love my coffee cup my MIL gave me for my birthday! But I just had realized the cute worm turned into a butterfly once you put hot coffee in it - so of course I had to take a picture! (middle right side) I added some text and graphics with the Rhonna Designs app before printing.

Since I put my title card on the right side of my layouts this time I included a stamped arrow from Pretty Cute Stamps pointing to the left page. The title card was on photo paper so I used Stazon ink.

I used the Rhonna Designs app to create the Valentine pocket cards and used some Valentine ephemera and stickers with my photos. I don't always use this pocket page layout, but I do like the way the 3x4's go right down the middle of the page!

Thanks so much for joining me today! I just love being able to share a little piece of my life and love hearing what you're up to. Don't forget to check out the current Bimini Moose challenge for inspiration and your chance to win a very sweet cut file!
